Business Plan Competition – a platform where the top 3 plans won cash prizes and mentoring support from the University and an external agency.

UEM Convention 2018: The theme of the convention was “How to Establish an Enterprise Successfully – An Approach”. The convention discussed the key aspects and challenges the businesses and start-ups face and how they can establish a successful venture. The convention provides a platform for leading professionals from the industry and entrepreneurs to present their expert opinions, views and experiences.

On Oct 5, 2018, Mr. U. K. Das, Ex General Manager, Mecon Limited delivered a guest lecture talk on ‘Shotcrete Technology’.

On Nov 1, 2018, a poster competition on ‘Green Buildings’ is being organized

On Jan 15, 2019, Prof. Amalendu Dasgupta, Advisor and Ex-Director, Development Consultants Private Limited, DCPL delivered a speech to civil engineering students.

On Jan 17, 2019 a virtual tour was organized by the department on the topic ‘Construction of Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai”.

Civil Engineering department has organized two industrial visits to Tega Industries (April, 2017) and Simplex Infrastructures (September, 2017)
