Board of Studies (BoS) Meeting and External Departmental Audit Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering successfully conducted the Board of Studies (BoS) meeting and the external departmental audit on 3rd December 2024 in Board Room, 1st Floor, UEM Jaipur. The meeting was attended by the following esteemed experts: 1. Dr. Tarun Varma , Associate Professor, MNIT Jaipur (Academic Expert Member) 2. Mr. Deepak Sharma , Industry Expert, Rams India Private Ltd. The agenda points of the BoS meeting were discussed in detail, and the expert members provided valuable suggestions to enhance the syllabus and improve the laboratory experiments. Their recommendations aim to align the curriculum with current industry trends and academic advancements. Additionally, the experts reviewed the departmental records as part of the external audit and shared their insightful observations and remarks, which will be instrumental in further strengthening the department’s processes. The 4th International Interdisciplinary Research in Technology and Management (IRTM) conference was organized very successfully on 5th December by IEM and UEM, in association with NIT Calicut, Vijnana Bharati and SMART SOCIETY USA. The Chief Guest was Shri Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman of NAAC and Former director of AICTE. A galaxy of dignitaries were present, like Director of CSIR, Distinguished Scientist of ISRO, Director of NIT CALICUT etc. Congratulations to the organizing team led by Prof. Sanghamitra Poddar for organizing such a exemplary conference.
