2-day hands-on workshop on Cupping Therapy and Rigid Taping Technique on 1st and 2nd March, 2020 at the University premises of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur organized by the School of Physiotherapy (BPT). The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Vishal Jain, Founder, Indian Academy of Manual Therapy. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur presents Cyclothon with the theme "Pedal for a Better Tomorrow" in association with Zee Rajasthan. The cause of the Cyclothon is "Save Earth". It's an initiative of the Green Earth club of UEM Jaipur. It will start from Jawahar Circle JLN Marg at 6:30 am on 1st March, 2020. ALL ARE INVITED to participate for a noble cause........

This Augmented Reality application designed by the students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is a virtual measuring tape, which can measure and show the length and breadth of an object, measure the distance between two objects. It can be used in construction sites. The tape is not a physical object but is virtually augmented to the real world through the mobile application developed by the students. The students are Ayush Pallab Gupta and Kunal Saha, both 1st year B. Tech CSE students of UEM Jaipur, and they have developed this application under Sreyaskam Ghoshal, 2nd year, B.Tech CSE student of UEM Jaipur, who is now mentoring his 1st year juniors to build augmented reality and virtual reality applications in the AR-VR laboratory of the University. The new Augmented Reality application designed by Sreyaskam Ghoshal, 2nd year, B.Tech CSE student and Pragnapan Roy Dibya, 2nd yr B.Tech ECE student of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is an watch augmented to the real world, which can be used as a marketing application by different watch stores. By wearing a band with a QR code on your hand, through this application, you can see how the different designs of the different watches (along with the different possible watch band colors) look in your hand, to aid you purchase the right one. Students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, 2020 passing out batch are doing excellent in placements again. In 2019, passout students of UEM Jaipur achieved excellent placements of 123.22% (ratio of number of job offers to the number of students opting for placements). Few press releases in leading newspapers of Rajasthan regarding the highly successful - "The Jaipur Mega Job Mela" organized in association of Govt. of Rajasthan, Department of Skill, Employability and Entrepreneurship and the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 31st January, 2020. The event was held at the premises of UEM Jaipur. Few thousands of job seekers attended the fair, and were recruited by 92 companies. There were 637 job offers on the day under a single roof. There are many more in the waiting list and will be offered soon. IEEE-MTTS Student Branch Chapter and IEEE UEM Jaipur Student Branch in association, organized a 2-Day IEEE Workshop on "Security Aspects in Amateur Radio Communication Systems and Networks" on 4th-5th February, 2020 at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. Prof. Miroslav Skoric, IEEE Senior Member, from Belgrade, Serbia was the main Resource Person for this workshop. Prof. Dr. S. Ram Mohan, Director, National Institute of Amateur Radio, Hyderabad and Shri Sandeep Baruah, Scientist, E-Vigyan Parishar, Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India were the other resource persons. The students and faculty members thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and it was a wonderful and extremely interesting learning experience for them.
