Few innovative activities by the students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur under their robotics club. Our students always engage in innovative activities along with their good academic performance. Please SEE the VIDEO to understand few of their activities - Humanoid Robot - 3D printed Humanoid Robot which can perform activities such as walking, dancing and playing football. More activities can also be programmed into it through an android application, built for the purpose. Spider robot (Wi-Fi control) - This is a 3D printed spider robot. Through this, the entire operation of the robot can be controlled from Android Mobile Phone through the Wi-Fi. This may be extremely useful for spying after including an IP camera. 3D printed micro-human walker robot - After connecting with the Wi-Fi hotspot of robot, anyone can control this through the web browser. This robot can walk forward, backward, turn left, turn right like the penguin. It can also perform other functions like waving. Industrial Automation Model - A Pick and Place Robotic Hand as a project work. It is controlled by putting in the location from anywhere in the world based on IoT (Internet of Things). Spider robot (Autonomous) - 12-DOF 3D printed spider robot developed by students of UEM Jaipur. It can smoothly walk on any surface. During the lockdown period all over India due to COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has ensured that the entire teaching-learning process along with the examinations are held in time ( *in online mode* ), without any loss of academic time. Respected Sir/Madam, During the lockdown period all over India due to COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has ensured that the entire teaching-learning process along with the examinations are held in time ( *in online mode* ), without any loss of academic time. Our students will be ready with their academic completion right in time. 1. We are holding our Online morning and afternoon meeting daily with all faculty through Youtube live. 2. Digital Attendence of Faculty is being conducted through Google forms and IEMCRP (our e-governance software). 3.Online classes are being held exactly as per routine through Zoom , Youtube live everyday as per routine. 4. Online Labs are being held in virtual mode using Virtual Labs (vlab), Matlab, Hacker Rank (online coding platform) etc. 5. Online lectures are being held by corporate experts. 6. Mid-semester examination has been held through IEMCRP (our e-governance software) and invigilation through Zoom. The exam papers (with descriptive type questions) were uploaded by teachers into IEMCRP and were available at exam time from the students' profiles. They wrote the exam with pen and paper. Answer scripts were scanned with mobile phone and uploaded for examination by the students. The abar scripts were available to the teachers from their profiles of IEMCRP. (Students will later submit the answer script for keeping record.) We took help of zoom so that students couldn't take help of others. We practiced the system, and found it is working fine in mid-semester exams. 7. The same method will be used in final semester examination also. 8. About 5 percent students found it difficult for various reasons like internet connectivity at their home town. Their cases will be placed to Academic Council and to Governing Body for consideration. 7. Online FDP is going on regularly. 8. On line Admission is happening through IEMJEE and our admission related website ( admission.uem.edu.in ). 9. Online Placement is also being conducted.
