The University of Engineering & Management (UEM) is coming up with a National HR meet, to be held at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. IISc Bangalore is the topmost pillar of technical education in the country. We are proud having the chance to conduct the program at IISc Bangalore. Most importantly in the program, two selected students of the students' placement cell of UEM Jaipur will get a chance to interact with the top corporates directly. In the HR meet, we will have discussions about the current industry scenario regarding recruitments. Companies like Samsung India Research, Uber India, Flipkart etc are coming. Mega Debate session was held at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), in association with IIT Kanpur is organizing Technocruise - Technical Festival comprising of events like Tech Talks, Robotics events etc. 46 schools and colleges are participating in the event. The University of Engineering & Management (UEM) and IIT Kanpur are organizing the zonal round of "Technocruise" Technical Festival at the venue of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), New Town, Kolkata today and tomorrow (18th and 19th February, 2017). The event will comprise of several workshops and Robotics events. All are welcome.......

Riya Sett, B.Tech. ECE in 2016 from IEM, has been in France at AIX Marseille University as part of her MS, under Erasmus Mundus fellowship. She will spend her summer internship at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany @ Euro 800 per month scholarship for research on superconducting quantum circuits, which she will continue for her MS thesis. She has already completed in France a project on wave particle duality at macroscale, working with spherical waves which is very new. Congratulations to Riya! Already earlier to this on 2015, Sumedha Bhattacharya, student of UEM Jaipur received the prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarship to travel to 6 countries of Europe and study in 6 different Universities under a single scholarship.

Placement has actually become a regular affair for the students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM). On 7th February, 2017, one student, Mr. Sadar Alam from UEM Jaipur got selected in Viney Corporation out of their total recruitment of 4 students from entire Bengal. On 8th February, 2017, three students of UEM Jaipur Ms. Amrita, Mr. Arghya and Mr. Soham got recruited in Dee Power Corporation, Core Company out of the total number of 12 students, the company will recruit from entire India this year. And on 9th February, 2017, 6 students of UEM Jaipur (3 from Mechanical and 3 from Electrical) got shortlisted for the final round of "Saent India" core company. Again on 10th February, 2017, one student from UEM Jaipur - Mr. Sayak Mukherjee got placed in Amazon. In 2016, all students of UEM got 1 to 2 job offers on average. We are on the verge of achieving the same record for the students of 2017 batch also.  

Two students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata - Riddhi Dutta and Rafi Akhtar have became champions in CodePlay - the Coding challenge at eXabyte - the Technical Festival of St. Xavier's Institute, Kolkata. CodePlay is a standard programming_contest with two participants in a team.
