১৩ তে ১৩ পার্বণ : Bengali New Year was celebrated  by IIIHM, Department of Hotel & Hospitality Management, University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata. The event was organized with full authentic ambience and delicious Bengali Cuisine,.    

Dr Tanay Pramanik, Professor of Basic science and Humanities Department, UEM Kolkata was awarded with National Education Brilliance Award 2021 for being selected as Top 10 Best Chemistry Faculty of the year.

CS Department of UEMK organises a Panel Discussion Event on the topic " Workplace Expectations and Experiences in the corporate world from a Fresher's point of view" . The group of Panelists are young corporate employees, who can share their expectations and experiences in their respective workplaces. The audience, mostly undergraduate  students, will be benefitted by attending this event as they will understand what to expect after joining the corporate industry.

Dr. Soumendra Nath Ghosh, Senior Scientist, West Bengal Biodiversity Board, Govt. of West Bengal delivered a speech on “Biodiversity” on 13th April 2021.

On 8th April 2021, the P.G. students of Zoology Department from Srirampur College visited the labs of Department of Biotechnology on virtual mode. They were demonstrated with various instrumentations that are available to the departmental Lab  

Alumni network is one major resource students can use for getting information. Therefore Department of Electrical Engineering of UEM, Kolkata arranged an Alumni Talk by Mr. Rajdeep Roy, Assistant System Engineer, TCS on 30.03.2021. He discussed about the Future Scope of Electrical Engineers with our 2nd and 3rd year students.

The main reasons for calibration are to ensure the reliability of the instrument, that it can be trusted. It is required to determine the accuracy of the instrument and to ensure the readings are consistent with other measurements. Therefore, Department of Electrical Engineering of UEM, Kolkata has taken the initiative to conduct a Virtual Industrial Tour on CALIBRATION OF INSTRUMENTS for 3rd Year EE students on 26.03.2021 from 01:00 pm to 02:00 pm.
