The leading National level Technical Bonanza of the country - Connectech - which sees the highest number of participations in technical contests all across India came back to Sikar. It was organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur in Railway Community Hall, and challenged all the schools and its students to participate for winning the Champions' School Trophy on 15th September, 2023. It saw the participation of 1000+ school students from leading schools of Rajasthan, and also from other states. Empowering Engineers to Innovate and Build Tomorrow's World § on Engineers' Day. At the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 15th September, 2023, we celebrated Engineers Day with great enthusiasm. More than 300 students attended the event along with Dean, HODs, Event Coordinator Prof. Dipta Mukherjee and faculty members. The students were enlightened about the legendary profile of Sir M. Visvesvaraya and Dean sir emphasized on developing Professional Ethics. ATRANG Club - the Music and Cultural Club at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR at Mood Indigo, IT Bombay. Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay currently in its 53rd edition is Asia's largest college cultural festival which attracts a footfall of about 146,000+ students from 4000+ colleges across India. The multicity elimination round for Mood Indigo was conducted in Jaipur city. Around 45+ participants from UEM Music and Cultural Club: ATRANG performed at the event under the categories of Street Play, Slam Poetry (Hindi and English), Solo and Group dance, Solo and Group Singing, Music Band performances. All the universities and colleges from in and out the Jaipur participated in the elimination rounds. The winners of this round will get to perform at the main event of Mood Indigo at IIT Bombay and will also receive the following benefits: 1. The top performers will get free accommodation during the main event in IIT Bombay. 2. The top performers will get 150+ internship opportunities in organisations like Spring, CRY (Child Rights and You), HelpAge India, Agastya International Foundation, PETA India, Udaan welfare foundation etc. 3. Smart India Hackathon 2023 Internal Hackathon for selection of students to participate in the Smart India Hackathon was organized at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 26th September 2023. UMANG is an initiative run by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR in the University premises, in association with Rotary Club and Singer, to provide free sewing training to rural women across 5 different villages adopted by the University. The intent is that these women can setup their own establishments and earn their livelihood and also arrange the same for others. "Cloud Study Jam Workshop Day-2 | UEM JAIPUR" Following the successful commencement of Day 1, the Google Developer Students Club (GDSC), University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR orchestrated the "Cloud Study Jam Workshop Day-2" on the 17th of September, held in the basement auditorium. The event featured accomplished trainers, namely Subham Gourisaria, GDSC Lead of UEM Jaipur, and Cloud Facilitator Shipra Shriparn. During Day 2, participants actively engaged in hands-on lab exercises focused on Generative Al and Cloud Foundations. Remarkably, several students completed both pathways by successfully navigating through all the prescribed labs.
