University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur Organizes Digital Literacy Program at Government Senior Secondary School, Udaipuria October 8, 2024, Udaipuria – The University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, in collaboration with the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and the National Service Scheme (NSS), conducted a Digital Literacy and Career Counseling Program at Government Senior Secondary School, Udaipuria. The program focused on promoting digital literacy among students and guiding them on career paths in today's evolving digital landscape. Representing UEM Jaipur, Dr. Mukesh Yadav, Associate Dean of Academics and Foreign Relations, Dr. B. S. Yadav, Director of Physical Education and Program Officer of NSS, Prof. Dipta Mukherjee, PROCTOR and Coordinator of UBA, Prof. Pravesh Bansal, Prof. Ashutosh Gautam, Mr. Mahesh Jat, and Mr. Jay Rawat attended and hosted the event. The program was attended by the students of classes 11th and 12th, who actively participated in discussions on the significance of digital literacy in shaping their future careers. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Pravesh Bansal emphasized the importance of equipping students with essential digital skills to thrive in the modern world. Grant-in-Aid Project Cheques Distributed to Faculty Members at University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur The University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, marked a significant day for research and academic innovation as faculty members received Grant-in-Aid project cheques under the university’s research support initiative. The distribution ceremony took place at the university’s campus, with Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar distributing the cheques to the faculty members . The Grant-in-Aid program, which seeks to bolster research and development across various departments, awarded funds to faculty members for their pioneering research proposals. The initiative encourages interdisciplinary research and aims to drive impactful outcomes in engineering, technology, and management domains. Among the recipients were faculty members from the departments of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physiotherapy and Management. Model United Nations (MUN) at UEM Jaipur The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) at UEM Jaipur proudly hosted a Model United Nations (MUN), where students participated as delegates representing different countries under the United Nations framework. The students acted as delegates and debated the international issues based on a set agenda, enhancing their understanding of global diplomacy and policy-making.
