MoU Signing Ceremony - UEM Jaipur and Shalby Limited Ahmedabad Today, UEM Jaipur signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shalby Limited, Ahmedabad for a collaborative program of MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management (MBA-HHM) from 2023 session. MBA-HHM is a two-year postgraduate program that is designed to equip students with an in-depth knowledge about the healthcare world and its dynamics. This professional program is highly oriented towards planning, controlling and managing the healthcare system and its administration. Students will have opportunities to be trained in Shalby Hospitals across India and meritorious students will be absorbed in Shalby Hospital Units. Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur and Mr. Babu Thomas, Chief Human Resource Officer, Shalby Limited, Ahmedabad signed the MoU in presence of Mr. Anuj Sethi, Manager Corporate Relations, UEM Jaipur and Mr. Kaushik Chakraborty, Head Shalby Academy. They visited the Advanced Simulation based Shalby Training Centre also, which is one of its kind in the entire nation.  

SPEECH COMPETITION AND POETRY RECITATION AT UEM JAIPUR Department of English, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR in association with NSS Unit, Dhanika (Women Cell) and The Speech Society of the University organised Speech Competition and Poetry Recitation on the theme ‘Women as Foundation of Value Based Society’. More than 50 students recited poems and delivered speeches with great zeal and enthusiasm. The young and gifted orators had won the hearts of the audiences, who were overwhelmed by their oratory skills and preparation. All the participants performed exceptionally well, winning accolades for themselves. The competition gave a lot of encouragement and confidence to the performers and to all the students present there. The event was then followed by the announcing of the winners, amidst thunderous applauding. The confidence, expression and talent of the students made the event truly memorable. The competition was judged by Prof. Dr Snehlata, Prof. Poulomi, Prof. Subhro, UEM JAIPUR. INTERNATIONAL Women's Day was celebrated at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR with Ms Mili Das, a renowned poet from West Bengal Marking the weeklong series of events on the eve of International Women’s Day, Ms Mili Das, a renowned poet of West Bengal was the ‘Guest of Honour’ in University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur today. Her mesmerising poems thrilled the audience. Her poems were saga of love and death driven with vivid imageries and radiant memories. Many of her poems were devoted to beautiful intricacies of nature. Her poems were enjoyed by the Faculty, students and participants. The event was then followed by Speech Competition and Poetry recitation wherein more than 50 students participated with great enthusiasm and delivered their speeches on Women Empowerment, Patriotism, Nature, Peace, and Harmony. The Auditorium echoed with the rhythmic clapping of the students. The Winners were given prizes and certificates. The event was coordinated together by Department of English in association with NSS Unit, Dhanika (Women Cell, UEM JAIPUR) and The Speech Society, UEM JAIPUR.

A team formed at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR has been given the responsibility to review the National Lighting Code SP 72 by the Bureau of Indian Standards, Govt. of India. The pics are those of 3rd March, 2023, when Mrs. Neha Agarwal, Scientist 'C' & Deputy Director, Bureau of Indian Standards, Govt. of India visited UEM Jaipur Campus to meet the said Team of UEM Jaipur. The team members are Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, kean, UEM Jaipur and Prof. Sandip Das, HoD ECE Dept, Prof. Dr. Ankit Kumar Sharma, HOD, Electrical Dept. During the review meet Prof. Sandip Das presented the course of action, plan of work and timeline to complete the project by the team to review about 42 chapters of Lighting Handbook. There was extensive discussion about ideas and knowledge sharing between Mrs. Neha Agarwal, Scientist 'C, BIS, Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dr. Rajat Mandal, Project Leader (BIS) and Prof. Sandip Das. Mrs. Neha Agarwal also presented about guidelines, specifications, need and areas of standardisation of Lighting Code of Practice. The discussion and review meet went well and the Team effort of UEM Jaipur was also praised.

Corporate CRICKET LEAGUE 4-5 March,2023 Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee and Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma inaugurated the league today on 4th March, 2023 at the Cricket Ground of UEM Jaipur at 9.00 AM in the morning. The first match was of UEM ROYALS and VIDHYUT SATHI. The game stopped few times because of rain but UEM ROYALS made into the semifinals. However , VIDHYUT SATHI gave a tough fight. But UEM ROYALS, performed tremendously well in both batting and balling. On the first day of league, there were 4 teams, fighting for the semifinal spot. The PRIYUSH LIONS also secured a spot in semifinals after defeating CA-AJN INDIANS. All the teams performed really well and the 4 winning teams will be fighting for title on the last day of league. Tomorrow Semi-finals and final matches will be played. Hope for the good weather and very exciting matches through out the day of Sunday, 5th of March, 2023.
