University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur Toastmasters Club successfully organized Speech Marathon in collaboration with Jaipur Toastmasters Club (JTC) on 25th January 2025. Our club mentors TM Lokendra and TM Kamlesh along with 13 other Toastmasters from Jaipur Toastmasters Club joined the meeting. We also hosted Mr. Rahul Doon, a guest and visitor to our club. The theme of the meeting was "Pahad hain, Chad Jao". There were 5 prepared speeches by TM Neeraj (JTC), TM Stuti (UEMJ), TM Krishnanshu (JTC), TM Radhika (UEMJ) TM Rohit (JTC) This was followed by 5 evaluation speeches delivered by TM Krishna(JTC), TM Sagnik(UEMJ), TM Palak(JTC), TM Abhishek(UEMJ) TM Kamlesh(JTC). There were the Aux Role Players: Timer TM Suman(UEMJ) Ah-counter TM Sanchari(UEMJ) Grammarian TM Fahim(JTC) Hark Master TM Shibagni(UEMJ). It was indeed a program full of energy and enthusiasm among the performers and the audience. The members exercised public speaking and collaborative learning in an unique way. The best performers were elected through voting among the members. The members of UEM Jaipur Toastmasters Club bagged 3 awards within the 4 categories. Best Aux Role Player TM Shibagni Best Evaluator TM Sagnik Best Table Topic Speaker TM Sagnik This hype of the event continued to an enchanting short trip to Samod which facilitated to maintain the strong bond among the members of both the clubs. The University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur, successfully hosted the Valedictory Session of the AICTE Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV). The session marked the culmination of an insightful and enriching journey for the participating faculty members. The event began with participants enthusiastically sharing their experiences and key takeaways from the program. Their reflections highlighted the profound impact of the FDP in deepening their understanding of universal human values and their significance in academia. The Valedictory Address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, who emphasized the importance of fostering brotherhood and harmony in society. Drawing inspiration from visionaries like Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar and Swami Vivekananda, he underscored the timeless principles of compassion, service, and ethical living that form the foundation of universal human values. The session also featured the felicitation of esteemed resource persons, including: Dr. Piush Sharma Dr. B.K. Sharma Dr. Alka Swami (Observer) Dr. B.K. Sharma, one of the resource persons, delivered the concluding remarks, commending UEM Jaipur’s commitment to promoting value-based education through such initiatives. The Vote of Thanks was presented by Prof. Dipta Mukherjee, who expressed gratitude to all contributors and participants for making the FDP a success. The event was further honored by the presence of: Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav, Associate Dean – Academics and Foreign Relations A total of 65 faculty members from various institutions actively participated, demonstrating their dedication to integrating universal human values into their teaching practices. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, showcasing the dedication and technical skills of the students. Interactive Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme at UEM Jaipur The Institution Innovation Council (IIC, UEM Jaipur) and the Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Development Center (IIEDC, UEM Jaipur), in collaboration with MSME, Government of India, proudly organized an engaging Workshop on Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across BBA, MBA, and B.Tech programs, who gained valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey. Many students were inspired to consider launching their own start-ups, and some took the opportunity to consult with resource persons regarding loan facilities available through banking institutions. This initiative reflects UEM Jaipur’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among its students, aligning with the university's vision of nurturing future leaders and changemakers.
