On the occasion of Holi, students and teachers of the University of Engineering & Management (UEm), JAIPUR celebrated with a cultural festival - Basant Utsav. It was a colorful and vibrant celebration of the festival of Holi. The event was held on the campus grounds on 7th March 2023. The students enthusiastically participated in various activities, including folk songs and dances, heralding the arrival of the spring season. The students' performances were a testament to the rich cultural heritage of India, and the event provided a fun and enjoyable experience for all participants. At the conclusion Prof Dr. Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor and Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, Pro-Vice Chancellor of UEM Jaipur reminisced and shared their memories of Holi with the audience.

"Industry Academia Connect 2023" was organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR on 1st March 2023 ar Hotel Ramada, Jaipur. The event served as a platform of meaningful exchanges between industry and academia and was attended by delegates from different colleges and universities in and around Jaipur. The topics of discussion were very insightful and its implementation would indeed be a trendsetter in future Academia and Corporate relations. All the attendees gained a lot from the event and were thankful to us for organizing and hosting such an event.

The proceedings of the second edition of the International Conference on Intelligent Energy Management in Smart Cities (ICIEMSC – 2022) organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Jaipur in association with Aarhus University, Denmark, have been published by the River Publishers. Now it will be transferred to Scopus for evaluation for possible inclusion. Congratulations to the entire team for organizing it so well. It was superbly executed and concluded. MoU Signing Ceremony - UEM Jaipur and Shalby Limited Ahmedabad Today, UEM Jaipur signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shalby Limited, Ahmedabad for a collaborative program of MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management (MBA-HHM) from 2023 session. MBA-HHM is a two-year postgraduate program that is designed to equip students with an in-depth knowledge about the healthcare world and its dynamics. This professional program is highly oriented towards planning, controlling and managing the healthcare system and its administration. Students will have opportunities to be trained in Shalby Hospitals across India and meritorious students will be absorbed in Shalby Hospital Units. Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur and Mr. Babu Thomas, Chief Human Resource Officer, Shalby Limited, Ahmedabad signed the MoU in presence of Mr. Anuj Sethi, Manager Corporate Relations, UEM Jaipur and Mr. Kaushik Chakraborty, Head Shalby Academy. They visited the Advanced Simulation based Shalby Training Centre also, which is one of its kind in the entire nation.  

SPEECH COMPETITION AND POETRY RECITATION AT UEM JAIPUR Department of English, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR in association with NSS Unit, Dhanika (Women Cell) and The Speech Society of the University organised Speech Competition and Poetry Recitation on the theme ‘Women as Foundation of Value Based Society’. More than 50 students recited poems and delivered speeches with great zeal and enthusiasm. The young and gifted orators had won the hearts of the audiences, who were overwhelmed by their oratory skills and preparation. All the participants performed exceptionally well, winning accolades for themselves. The competition gave a lot of encouragement and confidence to the performers and to all the students present there. The event was then followed by the announcing of the winners, amidst thunderous applauding. The confidence, expression and talent of the students made the event truly memorable. The competition was judged by Prof. Dr Snehlata, Prof. Poulomi, Prof. Subhro, UEM JAIPUR.
