Students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur went for an Industrial visit on 8th Sept 2016 at MSME, Jaipur.

On 8th September, 2016, on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, RPA (Rajasthan Physiotherapy Association) organized an awareness program & walkathon across Jaipur in which BPT students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur participated.

OSA (Optical Society of America) IONS program was held at ISM Dhanbad and was attended by our students. IEM-UEM group represents the India chapter of OSA.

A delegate of 40 best teachers of Bangladesh nominated by the Govt of Bangladesh visited IEM-UEM group and were awarded "Inspiring Best Teacher Award", organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata and University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. They interacted with the students and said words of inspiration.

On 7th September, 2016, Kuntal Sengupta and Sombuddha Chatterjee, 4th year students of IEM-UEM group and President and Vice-President of OSA approved India Student Chapter, will be leaving for ISM Dhanbad to attend & present their Poster Paper at OSA IONS Conference. After participating in OSA approved IONS Conference, the chapter will achieve eligibility to apply for another IONS Conference at IEM-UEM group and OSA will be sponsoring the whole event.

BCA students of IEM-IEM group have always bagged the best job offers amongst the BCA students of the state. This year also it started with a bang. Capgemini have recruited 66 BCA & BSC graduates from all over West Bengal and 23 students are from IEM-UEM group, again the highest in West Bengal.
