Prof. Ghatak is currently the Research Director of IEM and the Dean of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata.
He is the author of 10 Springer monograms, the most reputed international monogram of the world. He has published more than 500 research papers in international reputed SCI journals, and has produced more than 40 Ph.Ds from reputed Universities and Central Institutes of the country.

University of Engineering & Management (UEM),Jaipur being established by the IEM Group, Kolkata, the oldest and socially accredited best self-financed engineering institutional group of West Bengal, lead by Prof Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, would like to celebrate the growth of Bengal in Rajasthan in this event named “Inspiring Bengalis in Rajasthan” in association with Shiksha.com.In this event, tokens of appreciation will be given away to Bengalis as nominated by our search committee.
