A webinar on "An Industrial Applications of Bioinspired Algorithms" was organized by the Department of Physics, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 15 March, 2021 by Prof. Ivan Zelinka Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic.

This was a very interactive event taken back on 13th February, 2021 by Kunal Kushwaha, GSoC mentee and mentor, MLH fellow and team leader, CNCF intern, MLSA Gold student, and a Co-Founder of Code for Cause on the topic "How to start with Open Source?" for the students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.The webinar talked about all the basics of finding the right projects, the skill set you need, and how to make contributions to help both you and the community, and improve the learning curve as well!It was organized by Mr. Sahitya Roy, B Tech 1st year student, UEM JAIPUR.  

THE JAIPUR MEGA JOB FAIR (रोजगार शिविर):- All Job Seekers are invited to one of the biggest placement opportunities of the country at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur on 23rd March, 2021 being provided in association of the Govt. of Rajasthan, Dept. of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship and UEM, Jaipur on 23rd March, 2021 starting from 10 AM. “The Jaipur Mega Job Fair, 2021” is the biggest platform for recruitment of fresher graduates, diploma and students, and is being organised on 23rd March, 2021 at the UEM Jaipur premises, where more than 50 top companies will be recruiting freshers under a single platform. More than 500 job offers will be provided on that single day under one roof, by those 50+ companies. B. Tech, Diploma, BBA, BCA, B. Sc., B. Com, B.A. M. Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc., M. These are done to ensure all Govt. protocols in view of Covid-19 outbreak. Industry Connect program organized by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Jaipur and Govt. of Rajasthan, Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship to discuss about all upcoming possibilities and plans of industry institute partnership in the coming days. There program was held at RSLDC Auditorium, Jaipur on 9th March, 2021. A discussion for mutual benefit was held, and achieving a win-win position for both industry and UEM Jaipur was planned out. Prof. ANKIT KUMAR SHARMA, Associate Professor of University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur participated & completed successfully AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy Online FDP on "Energy Engineering" from 2021-2-5 to 2021-2-9 at Rajasthan Technical University Kota.He has also participated and successfully completed the 4 weeks- 24 hours course (01 Feb 2021 to 28 Feb 2021) Introduction to Java & Python for Beginners organized by HRDC IEM Group.

The impact of pandemic was huge on everybody's life. For the students it was the most difficult to miss out on their physical classes, friends, peers, group studies, canteen, sports etc, yet fight for acquiring knowledge, fight for their career ahead. Congratulations to Dr. Bhanu Pratap Soni (Associate Professor, Dept. of EE, UEM Jaipur) on his upcoming publication of book “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Engineering” in Springer Book Series “Algorithms for Intelligent Systems”. This book presents best selected papers presented at the First Global Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Applications (GCAIA 2020), organized by the University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur, India, during 8–10 September 2020. The proceeding will be targeting the current research works in the domain of intelligent systems and artificial intelligence.
