English Studies for Sustainable Societies and Cultures 2022
  Concept Note About Conference: The International Conference on English Studies for Sustainable Societies and Cultures (ICESSSC-2022) aims to create an enduring and multidisciplinary approach to English Studies, and provide a platform to exchange knowledge, ideas, experiences and expectations around the challenges of quality language learning for sustainability and healthy societies. The conference targets to open a debate among the different stakeholders on emerging English studies, its sustainable character to transform society at local and global level and provide intellectual guidance and scientific evidence to the challenges of modern, diverse societies with humanist and critical thinking, further promoting collaborative, interdisciplinary research and education in humanities, social sciences and sciences. The discussion will centre on the following subthemes: English language Study & Teaching English language Usage English Language Variation Sustainability and Linguistic Diversity Language and Cultural Identity Language and Community Sustainable Development Goals and English language Social Cognition and English Literature Psychology, Language and Literature Social Mobility and Education Development of Societies and Cultures through languages Language Maintenance and Shift Parameters of Language Sustainability The above sub-themes are indicative and not exhaustive. Scholars can formulate a more comprehensive and relevant theme within the broader framework of the conference.
