University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur presents Virtual Trading Championship

In this event there were 44 registered team with two participants in each team and finally 30 teams participated actively. Dr Mukesh Yadav and Dr G. Uma Devi (Associate Dean) blessed the students in the commencement of the event. Every team has allowed to trade with virtual money allotment of Rs 5,00,000. With different news of financial market and the reaction of teams in terms of buying and selling of stocks was the key demonstration of the event. Dr Yogesh Jakhar and Prof Sourav Banerjee were the judges to finalize the results. The event was designed to explore and highlight the proper mechanism of the stock market. Student coordinators contributed well as bankers as well as to maintain discipline during the event. Finally in the presence of Prof Sayak, Prof Rahul Sharma, Prof Sourav, Prof Saugata, Prof Rhythm and Prof Rishita three teams were awarded with Ist, IInd and IIIrd positions. Along with the distribution of certificates, Gold, Bronze and silver medals were also given to the top three winning team member by the judges and faculties. At last with the thanks note by Dr Pawan Sharma, the event was concluded.
