Workshop on How to Apply for Patent in Humanities and Management held at UEM Jaipur A specialized workshop was organized by the Department of English at UEM Jaipur, specifically designed for faculty members. The workshop, titled "How to Apply for Patent in Humanities and Management," held on March 20, 2024, aimed to empower educators with the necessary knowledge and skills essential for patent application processes within these fields. The event commenced with the esteemed presence of Guest Speaker, Dr. Sanjay Arora, President of ELTAl India and Dean of the School of Languages and Linguistics at the Central University of Rajasthan, who was warmly felicitated by Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur and Prof. (Dr) Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean-Academics,UEM Jaipur. Participants were guided through the intricate procedures involved in filing patents, with a specific focus on applications in the domains of Humanities and Management. From understanding the nuances of patent law to navigating the documentation process, attendees gained a thorough understanding of how to protect their intellectual property effectively. Day 2nd AIMBIG INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE Jaipur, showcased an evening of distinction, with Ambassador Hon. H.E. KL. Ganju, Consul General of the Republic of Union of Comoros, gracing the occasion as the esteemed chief guest. Commencing with a gracious welcome and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, the event saw the presentation of scholarships to MBA students Ms. Priyanka Kumawat and Mr. Sonjay Sur. Subsequently, the spotlight shifted to the prestigious Titan Awards ceremony, where 40 luminaries were recognized as India's most trusted Titans. Over the course of two days, the event was impeccably hosted by the skilled duo, Ms. Rishita Das and Mr. Rhythm Mukherjee, serving as masters of ceremony. Workshop on Design Thinking, Critical Thinking and Innovation Design E-Cell students of University of Engineering and Management Jaipur in association with IIC conducted Entrepreneurial Workshop on 07th March 2024 for all students. Main aim of workshop was to educate students about entrepreneurship and differentiate it from traditional business practices. The event commenced with an introduction to entrepreneurship, highlighting the roles and activities of entrepreneurs. One of the engaging activities, "Innoquiz: Uncover the startup secret" , challenged students to identify startups based on their taglines. This interactive session encouraged participants to explore the startup ecosystem and enhance their knowledge about emerging businesses. The event also announced "NIRMAAN" , where students were invited to pitch their business ideas. Selected teams would receive opportunities for incubation and support at the university's Incubation Centre, fostering innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among students. "Decode the Disruption: Start-up Sleuth Challenge" followed, presenting students with puzzles and hints to decipher information about products, companies, and startups. This activity encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for entrepreneurship. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony , recognizing the achievements of participants. Winners, runners-up, and second runners-up were awarded various prizes , acknowledging their contributions and efforts during the workshop.
