The tournament has ended today after 2days of interesting and intense matches between 8 teams. Out of those 4 teams reached to the semifinals i.e. Uem Royals vs Priyush 11, and Re-Life vs Med IT. The finale match was played between Re-Life and Uem Royals Lastly Re-Life became the winner of this cricket league. The Winner team was facilitated with trophies and the Cash prize of Rs. 25000 while the Runner Up team received the Cash Prize of Rs. 15000 along with the trophies. Thanks to the VC Sir Dr.(Prof.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Dean Sir Prof. Anirudh Mukherjee, Provost Sir Dr. Pradeep Sharma and HOD Sir Prof. Mrinal Kanti Sarkar sir for their presence as their presence made this tournament a special one. Thanks for their precious time, it really cheered up the teams. Corporate CRICKET LEAGUE 4-5 March,2023 Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee and Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Sharma inaugurated the league today on 4th March, 2023 at the Cricket Ground of UEM Jaipur at 9.00 AM in the morning. The first match was of UEM ROYALS and VIDHYUT SATHI. The game stopped few times because of rain but UEM ROYALS made into the semifinals. However , VIDHYUT SATHI gave a tough fight. But UEM ROYALS, performed tremendously well in both batting and balling. On the first day of league, there were 4 teams, fighting for the semifinal spot. The PRIYUSH LIONS also secured a spot in semifinals after defeating CA-AJN INDIANS. All the teams performed really well and the 4 winning teams will be fighting for title on the last day of league. Tomorrow Semi-finals and final matches will be played. Hope for the good weather and very exciting matches through out the day of Sunday, 5th of March, 2023.

Codesta Coding Club of the University of Engineering & Management Jaipur in collaboration with IIC, and ACM Student Chapter UEM Jaipur, organized a workshop on "Report Writing for College Projects" on 4th March 2023 in online mode with Ms Ishika Saraf as a trainer under the guidance of Prof. Jyoti Khandelwal and Prof. Jyoti Anand for interested students from all departments. The presence of Prof. Dr Mrinal Kanti Sarkar, HOD CSE department has made the session more informative and interactive. A Report is a formal document that presents the findings of the research, investigation, or analysis on a particular topic or subject. Students of all departments must be skilled in writing project reports, research papers, or any other relevant document. In this workshop, nearly 66 students joined and learned how to write a report for college projects. We hope this workshop made them comfortable and efficient in technical writing skills . It was an interactive as well as informative workshop that helped the participants to clear all their doubts they had regarding the topic.

UEM Jaipur celebrates International Women’s Day with Ms Mili Das, a renowned poet of West Bengal Marking the weeklong series of events on the eve of forthcoming International Women’s Day, Ms Mili Das, a renowned poet of West Bengal was the ‘ Guest of Honour’ in University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur today. Her mesmerising poems thrilled the audience. Her poems were saga of love and death driven with vivid imageries and radiant memories. Many of her poems were devoted to beautiful intricacies of nature. Her poems were enjoyed by the Faculty, students and participants. The event was then followed by Speech Competition and Poetry recitation wherein more than 50 students participated with great enthusiasm and delivered their speeches on Women Empowerment, Patriotism, Nature, Peace, and Harmony. The Auditorium echoed with the rhythmic clapping of the students. The Winners were given prizes and certificates. The event was coordinated together by Department of English in association with NSS Unit, Dhanika ( Women Cell) and The Speech Society.
