We are pleased to announce that the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR has successfully conducted a 6-day industry-ready program on Oracle for final-year students. The instructor, Manmeet Singh, who was formerly from Oracle University and is currently employed by HCL as a solution architect, took the sessions and made them engaging for the students. Important topics such as SQL query, data retrieval, single functions, group by joins, subquery, set operator, managing data, creating tables, managing views, manage user/permissions, and many more were covered in the sessions. The participants have acquired in-depth knowledge and skills that will further assist them in solving a variety competitive questions during placement.  

Event Name – Circuit Tricks On 18th-March- 2023, Students of Electrical Engineering Department of UEM Jaipur have organized the Circuit Tricks Event. This event involves designing of circuits from the available components to generate the desired output challenged in the questionnaire. It’s a time-based event and the early better the strategy needs to be followed with a gist of accuracy. An application would be provided to you in form of a problem and you need to make a circuit for performing that particular experiment using various electronic components and present the required output to the jury members. About the Event: - In this event Total 15 teams registered for the event out of which 12 teams were from different streams of UEM Jaipur and 3 teams were from Govt. ITI College, Jaitpura . The first round was composed of an objective type of test. There were 25 questions & each carried five marks. There were 12 groups present for 1st round and 5 were shortlisted for 2nd round. In the second round, each group was given a different circuit to design. They were given 40 min to complete a circuit design. A total of 65 students participated in 2 rounds of the circuit designing Competition in which the first prize was won by team Laterals, second won by team Short Circuit and third by team Hustle. Event Name – Popsicles Stick Bridge Loading, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR. On 18th-March- 2023, Students of Civil Engineering Department have organized the Popsicles Stick bridge Loading Event. About the Event: - In this event we have made various types of bridge by using sticks. The main objective of this event is analyze the structure of bridge and to determine that how much load it can bear. The maximum load that a Popsicles Stick Bridge bear is 52kg. Event Name – TechDebate, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR. On 18th-March- 2023, students of The Speech Society, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR have organized the Tech Debate Event. The primary goal of a Tech debate was for students to generate effective critical thinking into primary issues in the given topic, compare and discriminate between ideas, verify the value of evidence for concept,resolve controversies, and recognize strengths and weaknesses of arguments. About the Event: - In 4 rounds of Debate Competition, first prize was won by team Smarticles, second won by team Exaudio and third by team Arbitrators. It was wonderful to watch students' war of words and battle of minds. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the participants and co-ordinators. Event Name – The Reverse Engineering On 17th-March- 2023, Students of Mechanical Engineering Department of UEM Jaipur have organized the Demonstration - Workshop for The Reverse Engineering Event with their participants. In this workshop they have dismantled a Car Engine and demonstrated its various parts and working. About the Event: - Reverse Engineering is process of dismantling a product to see how it works. It is basically used to analyze and gain knowledge about the way how something works but often is used to enhance the product feature. It can be used to reproduce parts that are no longer manufactured or difficult to obtain. By analyzing an existing part, engineers can create a new Machines/ Systems that replicates the original part's shape, dimensions, and function. Further, Engineers can use reverse engineering to analyze an existing product to identify areas for improvement or modification. This can involve analyzing the product's design, materials, and manufacturing processes to find ways to increase efficiency, reduce costs, or improve performance. On 16th and 17th March, 2023, the students of the ECE Department of UEM Jaipur, organized the ROBOTICS WORKSHOP with an overwhelming number of participants. The organizers worked hard to make the event a Grand Success. Throughout the workshop, the student instructors provided expert guidance and support to participants, helping them learn concepts of arduino, bluetooth module, motor driver etc. Students also learnt to build ROBO-CAR from scratch. Participants were able to learn valuable skills and gain hands-on experience, which will surely serve them well in their future endeavors. Overall, the event was a great success, and we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the participants and coordinators. NSS (National Service Scheme) NIC (National Integration Camp) for Rajasthan was held at the venue of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR, wherein 250 student volunteers of NSS from 13 different states of the country joined for 7 days. The program was very successfully held at UEM JAIPUR.

Mr. Divyansh Sachdev, 2nd year student of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR has published a book on WEB DEVELOPMENT. In his book, he has provided some of the best tools and tricks for web development in an interesting way.
