Chief Block Education Officer (Block Govindgarh), Government of Rajasthan is conducting a 12 days training session (from 31st July to 5th August, 2023 and 7th August to 12th August, 2023) for 640 primary school teachers in Basic Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), in the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR Campus. Teachers visited the Innovation Laboratory and other Research Facilities available in UEM Jaipur campus and praised the efforts of UEM students and teachers. They were very happy to see such laboratories and equipments of advanced level, in this region. They were very enthusiastic to see and experience Robots, Drones, AR/VR, 3D Printer, IOT based Projects and other innovative projects. They realised that UEM Jaipur has state-of-the-art advanced labs and equipments to make it's students employable. One of the Induction events held in UEM Jaipur for the first year students (newly arrived at the University) in collaboration with The Speech Society. One of the induction events held at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur was in collaboration with The Speech Society. The event commenced with a thought-provoking session by Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav, HOD, Department of English and Humanities, who shared insightful reflections based on his personal experiences. Following this, the TSS team, led by Alok Agarwal (BTech CSE II Year) and Somen Halder (BTech CSE II Year), provided a comprehensive overview of the society's objectives and functions. They discussed the various events and activities that the society offers, as well as the benefits of becoming a member. The event also featured a few public speaking events, in which students had the opportunity to practice their skills. The event also featured a series of engaging events orchestrated by the TSS team, showcasing the society's commitment to fostering effective communication skills and public speaking prowess. As the event drew to a close, participants were acknowledged and celebrated through a prize distribution ceremony, acknowledging their active participation and accomplishments throughout the event. The anchoring was done by Ashmit Palit (BTech CSE II Year). The entire team of The Speech Society was appreciated for organizing such a wonderful event.

We are pleased to announce that the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) is organizing a Symposium on “Artificial Intelligence - a Boon or Bane” on 14th August (Monday), 2023 at the University campus, wherein we are inviting eminent functionaries from various organizations, to have discussions on how Artificial Intelligence tools like ChatGPT are taking away human jobs or creating new job profiles, and how the future of recruitment looks like. The aforementioned symposium will consist of the panel discussion and also project exhibitions on IoT, Robotics, 3-D printing, AR/VR, EV, Drones and more, and will act as a forum to focus on how the industry leaders can recognize the change that is coming because of the introduction of new technologies, and take suitable necessary measures to reorient their manpower resources. On 7th September 2025, the students of Atrang: The Cultural Club of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, had the remarkable opportunity to participate in the Jaipur chapter of Mood Indigo Multicity, hosted at the vibrant VGU campus. Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay’s annual cultural extravaganza, stands as Asia’s largest celebration of art, music, theatre, and dance, and the Jaipur edition gave our students the platform to showcase their creativity and competitive spirit. Our students participated across a wide spectrum of events—Mantra (group singing), MI Idol (solo singing), Aagaaz (street play), Desi Beats (dance), and MI: The Best (multi-skill showcase). Each performance reflected their talent, passion, and determination. Among these, a moment of immense pride came when UEM Jaipur secured third place in Mantra, earning a ticket to perform on the grand final stage at IIT Bombay. This achievement is not only a milestone but also an inspiration, as our students prepare to represent UEM Jaipur on one of the country’s most prestigious cultural platforms. More than a competition, the event was an experience of learning, growth, and creative exchange—every performance witnessed, every interaction made, and every applause received added to their journey of excellence.
