UEM Jaipur Toastmasters Club joined the grand Toastmasters Area Conference "Convergence 2024" which brought together accomplished speakers from three distinct Toastmasters areas - C1, C2, and C3, showcasing excellence in public speaking and leadership. The competition, hosted at the esteemed JECRC Foundation campus in Jaipur, demonstrated the vibrant Toastmasters community in the region. The event featured two prestigious competitions: the Area Level Evaluation Contest and the Humorous Speech Contest. Toastmaster Sagnik (CSE AIML 2nd year) secured 3rd position in the Humorous Speech Contest category, competing against seasoned speakers from prestigious clubs including JTC, SKIT, VGU, JECRC, and PCTC. The success at Convergence 2024 marks another milestone in the club's journey, reflecting the dedication of its members and the quality of training provided within the club environment. The International Conference on Human Values in Higher Education (ICHVHE) is an annual conference organized by The UHV Foundation Delhi for education policymakers, chancellors, vice chancellors/directors, other key decision-makers in education, and persons committed to value-based education. The conference is aimed at developing a shared vision of holistic, value-based education or education for the well-being of all. While the initial scope is SAARC nations, the effort is ultimately for human education globally; and through human education, the emergence of a human society, in which the well-being of all is realised generation after generation. The theme of the 2024 conference is Value-based Education for Humane Society (including SDGs). This 9th ICHVHE is being organized by 22 collaborating institutions from India and Bhutan including AICTE, SRM and other prominent institutions.
