Engineering is probably the most common course taken up by most science students. The reason for such high demand being the highly paid jobs that one gets after the course completion. But to achieve such positions one must be placeable. That's exactly what our University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur aimed at. The achievements of mine are solely indebted to the efforts of all the faculty members and the University. They have helped me to grow better with each passing day and become placable. Toycathon 2021; a Hackathon to crowd source innovative ideas for the Toys and Games based on Bharatiya history, civilization, ethos, and culture was launched by Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Hon’ble Minister of Education and Smt. Smriti Irani, Hon’ble Minister for Women and Child Development and Textiles. Toycathon 2021 is organized by the Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education with support of AICTE, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Toycathon is a novel opportunity for students from HEIs and schools to propose toys and games that will greatly help India develop into a global hub for toys and games and assist our children to understand the ethos and values of Indian culture as envisaged in the National Education Policy 2020. In Toycathon, students of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses are also allowed to enter in teams of at least 3 and at most 6 with up to 2 mentors to guide them. They will participate under track 2 of Toycathon 2021. The winners of Toycathon will have a chance to win total prize money worth of Rs. 50 lakhs. Few innovative activities by the students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur under their robotics club. Our students always engage in innovative activities along with their good academic performance. Please SEE the VIDEO to understand few of their activities - Humanoid Robot - 3D printed Humanoid Robot which can perform activities such as walking, dancing and playing football. More activities can also be programmed into it through an android application, built for the purpose. Spider robot (Wi-Fi control) - This is a 3D printed spider robot. Through this, the entire operation of the robot can be controlled from Android Mobile Phone through the Wi-Fi. This may be extremely useful for spying after including an IP camera. 3D printed micro-human walker robot - After connecting with the Wi-Fi hotspot of robot, anyone can control this through the web browser. This robot can walk forward, backward, turn left, turn right like the penguin. It can also perform other functions like waving. Industrial Automation Model - A Pick and Place Robotic Hand as a project work. It is controlled by putting in the location from anywhere in the world based on IoT (Internet of Things). Spider robot (Autonomous) - 12-DOF 3D printed spider robot developed by students of UEM Jaipur. It can smoothly walk on any surface. During the lockdown period all over India due to COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has ensured that the entire teaching-learning process along with the examinations are held in time ( *in online mode* ), without any loss of academic time.
