University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur has organized its 8th Convocation for its 2022 passed out students of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses of Engineering, Management, Physiotherapy and Computer Applications on 11th February, 2023. 18 gold, 16 silver and 16 bronze medals were awarded to the top rankers students from every course. Total 303 students been awarded undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Engineering, Management, Physiotherapy and Computer Applications courses of 2022 passed out batch. Shri S K Mehta, Director, BOAT NR has been conferred the Honoris Causa for his outstanding contribution in the field of Apprenticeship, Training and Placements of students. Shri Shekhar Dutt, SM, IAS has graced the occasion as chief guest of the event along with other guests of honour. All the students of 2022 were very happy after receiving their degree certificates and enjoyed their stay during the ceremony.

1st year students of Hospitality and Aviation Management of UEM Kolkata visited Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport (Andal Airport) on 10th February, 2023 for one day Airport Visit (Educational Tour).    

Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas celebrated at UEM Jaipur campus. The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) to strengthen the capabilities of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and to improve coordination among the LEAs and other agencies. The MHA has also launched the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) to facilitate online reporting of cyber-crime incidents. In this regard, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are requested to celebrate "Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas" (CJD) and also to celebrate in an elaborative manner for propagating cyber hygiene as mass awareness campaign, by involving dignitaries in various factions across all the States/UTs. In the above-mentioned context, UEM Jaipur organised the second event of Cyber Jagrookta Diwas on 8th February, 2023. The event began with the felicitation of the Guest of Honour, Shri Nand Kishor Yadav, CEO, RNS Group of Companies by Prof. (Dr) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur. The Guest of Honour, renowned cyber security expert, Shri Nand Kishor Yadav, CEO of RNS group of companies who is an information security professional (having more than 10 years of experience ) shared his experience and findings with the students and also motivated them to stay protected in the present days scenario where cyber crime is a very common problem. He also discussed about how scammers can distract and misguide the person with the help of social engineering. He clearly demarcated the difference between Cyber Scammers and Cyber Hackers. During the end of session, he practically showcased hacking patterns by hacking the Radio FM 97.3 Channel. It was a nail biting session which left students perplexed and amazed to see how hacking is done. On this occasion, Prof. (Dr )Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM, Jaipur , Prof. (Dr. ) Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean- Academics, Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Yadav, HoD, Department of English, Dr. B. S. Yadav, Director of Physical education, Dr. Yogesh Jhakar and Dr Snehlata Dhaka were also present . Prof. Dipta Mukherjee coordinated the entire event. A total of 325 students attended the event and they raised numerous questions to the eminent speaker and got their doubts cleared.

University of Engineering and Management Jaipur has established a center of 20 sewing machines with Singer India and Rotary Club, which has been named "UMANG" where 22 students at a time will be given free of cost training in fashion design course and 2 batches will be held in a day, and it will be a minimum 3 months course.

32nd meeting of the Board of Management of UEM Jaipur held today on 10th, Feb, 2023 in University campus at 10 AM onward. Hon'ble members of the Board of Management of UEM Jaipur were present during the meeting and appreciated the efforts of the University for making more students employable. Responsiveness from SINGER and ROTARY meet the board and informed about the inauguration of the UMANG center at University campus to train women from nearby villages in fashion designing courses as per the directives from NSDC.

11th IEEE International Conference on Internet of Everything, Microwave Engineering, Communication and Networks (IEMECON 2023) is a series conference under the technical sponsor of IEEE Delhi Section which is organized by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur on 10th-11th Feb, 2023. The conference was inaugurated today in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Satyajit Chakraborty, Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice-Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, Prof. (Dr.) Aniruddha , Dean, UEM Jaipur and Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kr. Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur. The objective of the two days hybrid Conference is to learn and share knowledge among all and those who have rich experience and expertise in relevant areas of science and technology. Keynote and Technical Sessions are arranged to discuss the Challenges, Opportunities and Problems of Internet of Things, Microwave Engineering, Communication and Networks. This year we have 8 countries participating in IEMECON 2023 with a submission of 286 papers and an acceptance rate of 18.88%. There was participants from eight countries like Germany, Kosovo, UK, Taiwan, USA, Taiwan, Egypt and India. The first keynote speaker Mr. Sandeep Shekhawat, Director of Engineering at Walmart Global Tech, USA, came from USA to give a talk on how AI+IoT can play a pivotal role in retail industry. Mr. Sandeep is leading the Associate productivity team in Walmart Global Tech, USA. Prior to this he was with Facebook/WhatsApp, Apple and Yahoo, with a total of 15 years of industry experience. His expertise is in areas of enterprise AI + Internet of Things for Smart Retail. At Apple he applied the biggest retail application of IoT, he built and scaled IoT applications for millions of devices at Apple. More recently he has been furthering the IoT solutions and their applications at Walmart Retail stores (one of the largest Retailers by footprint) to enable efficient store operations by collecting data from devices and machinery in the stores. The second keynote speaker Mr. Aninda Sankar Sukla, Lead Sr. Data Scientist, Aays Analytics, India. He is a Lead Sr. Data Scientist and Consultant with strong theoretical skills and a passion for Data science. In his talk he presented how Data Scienceis used in finance area. As a data scientist his Responsibilities included building POC related to the data science domain for clients, creating IPs like Publishing Papers, doing research and coming up with new ideas that can be used as business-driven solutions. The Keynote sessions was followed by Technical sessions. Today there were four Technical Sessions where 24 papers were presented by different authors on topics covering IoT, 5G antennas, Artificial intelligence, etc.
