At INDUSTRY ACADEMIA CONCLAVE, organized by MAKAUT more than 50 institution had participated. MAKAUT has appreciated 10 best models, out of which 3 models were prepared by IEM students. 2nd year student Riddhi Dutta of the University if Engineering & Management (UEM) Kolkata bagged first prize in the event "WELCOME To The Machine", a coding competition held at techfest organised by The Department of Physics, St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, annual departmental fest "SPECTRUM 2017" on March 20, 2017.
