A group of 1st-year students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR developed a device for tracking the field employees. They called it GoFAS. The GoFAS is an IoT-enabled Geo-fencing based Biometric Attendance System. As seen in the video, when switched ON, it boots and checks for its various processes, one by one. After every successful booting, it gives a beep to ensure the process is okay. Next, the device consumes a short time to fetch details from the cloud through IoT. It displays the Task name, current date, time and GPS coordinate. The fingerprint sensor gets activated only when the user is within the fencing region. After the fingerprint is scanned, the device uploads the data to the cloud again. In this way, it monitors the attendance of the person time to time. This device is developed by: 1. IPR Awareness Program in UEM Jaipur under National IP awareness Mission (NiPAM) - 06.04.2023 - 11.30 AM ---------------------------------------------- UEM Jaipur has organized IPR Awareness Program under National IP awareness Mission (NiPAM) on 6th April, 2023 at 11.30 AM in UEM Jaipur Campus. Prof. Dr. Aniruddha Mukherjee, Dean, UEM Jaipur and other professors along with more than 100 students from various courses attended this very informative and interactive session by Ms. Pooja Kumar , NIPAM-IP Professional (Registered Patent Agent, Entrepreneur and Startup Facilitator) and Founder & Director of InnovIntellect, India. Training Update BHM 1st year students of UEM Kolkata has undergone 6 days Airport Operations and Management Training at Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport, Andal from 20th March, 2023 to 25th March, 2023 The training covered some of the important areas of Airport operations such as- 1. Terminal Operations & Passenger Facilitation. 2. Airside Operations. 3. ARFF & Emergency Services. 4. Safety & Security Manager. 5. Commercial & Maintenance activities.
