They have shared the story behind the club’s name, as well as the vision and mission of both Pradyog and the IEEE MTT-S Chapter. The session continued with an introduction to the Internet of Things (IoT), exploring the fascinating world of interconnected devices powered by sensors, software, and cutting-edge technologies. They showcased several projects and organized a quiz competition where participants had the chance to win exciting prizes. FUNOTSAV: Thodi Masti, Thoda Maja Induction Event by The Speech Society 2.0 The event kicked off with an introduction to The Speech Society (TSS). Following this, we dived into a series of engaging games, starting with a Slido quiz and a general knowledge quiz. Next, TSS showcased a short video highlighting the past TSS event, Aarambh, featuring Kuldeep Singhania. We then introduced an interactive game called "Guess the Tagline," where the audience guessed brands based on taglines and movies based on dialogues.Our final game is "Character Playing," where students come on stage, draw a chit, and act out the given role.The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, an overview of the TSS training program, and a short video featuring the audience. #TopRankedUniversity #uemian #uem #UEMJaipur

Four final-year students from the ECE department at IEM Kolkata, Abhigyan Mondal, Mrinmoy Mondal, Saikat Das, and Debjit Roy, recently completed a one-month internship at University of Engineering & Management (UEM) Jaipur, where they contributed to ongoing projects. As part of their internship, they worked on developing a smart shoe for school children, designed to track their location and activity for enhanced safety, and on creating a virtual reality (VR) classroom, enabling interactive virtual environments for students and teachers. Hands-On Workshop on 3D- Printing Technology: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, with the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Student Branch Chapter, organized today on 27th July 2024, a hands-on workshop for second-year students. The focus of the workshop was on 3D printing technology, aimed at providing students with practical experience and knowledge in this cutting-edge field. The participation from students across various branches, including ECE, CSE, and CSE-AIML. The students were part of the PRODYOG team also, which fosters interdisciplinary learning and collaboration. The hands-on workshop was conducted by Prof. Sougata Banerjee , an expert in the field of 3D printing. Prof. Banerjee provided a comprehensive overview of 3D printing technology, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. It includes Introduction to 3D Printing, Designing for 3D Printing, Implementation of 3D Printing, and Hands-On Session . The participants gained a deeper understanding of 3D printing technology, from design to implementation. This experience is expected to inspire further interest and innovation in the field of 3D printing among the students. Dr. Imran Khan from the Department of Physiotherapy successfully completed a three-day workshop on sports psychology with the theme "Think Psychology of Peak Performance in Sports."
