University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur presents B-QUIZ MASTERS SHOWDOWN The Fin Dazzlers Finance Club, in collaboration with the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and ACM UEMJ Chapter, successfully organized a Quiz Competition during TECHUTOPIA 2024 at UEM Jaipur on September 15, 2024. The event took place in the Basement Seminar Hall of Academic Block 1. Students from the first, second, and third years enthusiastically participated in the competition. The event was further enhanced by the presence of Professor Sayak Pramanik, the Head of the BCA Department and Professor Sanchari Basak, Prof Sougata Banerjee, Prof Sourav Banerjee sir. The winners were awarded cash prizes, physical certificates, and medals. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur presents TechQuest organized by Speech Society, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur TechQuest, organized by the Speech Society as part of TechFest 2024, was a competitive technical quiz focusing on programming, data structures, algorithms, and array manipulation. A total of 32 teams participated, showcasing their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Round 1: All 32 teams participated, with 15 teams advancing based on their performance in basic programming and DSA. Round 2: The difficulty increased, narrowing the field to 7 teams for the final. Final Round: The finalists faced challenging technical questions, with the top 3 teams declared as winners. PRADYOG Club and IEEE MTT-S Student Branch Chapter UEM Jaipur, in association with IIC and IQAC, conducted Robo Soccer at TECHUTOPIA 2024, UEM Jaipur on 15th September 2024. The event took place on the first floor near the Incubation Centre. Students from the first, second, and third years enthusiastically participated in the competition. The event was a resounding success, with a total of twelve teams participating. At the conclusion of the event, medals, certificates, and prize money were distributed to the winning teams by esteemed faculty members, including Associate Dean (Engineering) Prof. G. From UEM JAIPUR, we have started free Digital Literacy Program at different rural Govt. schools for imparting Computer and IT Literacy to rural children, and also at Panchayat offices where rural people in general, can come and attend. These are few scenes of the same. I'm delighted to share that the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at UEM Jaipur are collaborating to organize a one-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Innovative Writing of Research Articles using LaTeX." This program, running from 14th-18th October 2024, is designed to equip participants with the skills to efficiently and effectively write high-quality research articles and theses. M.Tech and PhD scholars will gain hands-on experience and valuable insights on drafting papers for journals and conferences, as well as Master’s/Ph.D. theses. This OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) event challenged participants to uncover hidden data from a given photo. Using advanced techniques like metadata analysis, reverse image searches, and online footprint tracking, participants had to piece together clues to reveal crucial information buried within the image. The Board Room of Academic Block 1 buzzed with excitement as 56 participants engaged in spirited Toast Quiz and Tech Debate. Toast Quiz: A Test of Technical Wit The Toast Quiz segment brought an exciting challenge to 56 enthusiastic participants. The quiz not only tested the participants' technical expertise but also their ability to think quickly under pressure, adding an electrifying dimension to the event.
