There is a Mega Job Fair at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata on 25th & 26th November 2017.

Cyber Peace Foundation in association with Ministry of IT had organised a Global Conference on Cyberspace(GCCS 2017). There was an event, named, Peace-a-Thon (basically Hackathon). Around 900 teams participated. Only 5 teams were being declared as winners. One team (Blue Monk) from University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata is one of the 5 winners. Sayak Dhar (CSE), Saswata Das(CSE) and Debanjit Sarkar(CSE), students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata will receive the award from our Honourable Prime Minister . 3 BBA Students (2 from Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) and 1 from University of Engineering & Management (UEM)) have been selected by WIPRO Technologies as Financial Analyst. They will draw a package of 2.5 Lakh in the first year, 3..5 Lakh in the second year and 5 Lakh in the final year with an MBA Degree from Symbiosis.

Teachers and students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur celebrated children's day with the little school children of Jaipur.
