Students of University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Jaipur have developed a Mini CNC machine which they will use for PCB fabrication and CNC milling. The main feature of this machine is that it is very low cost from existing PCB fabrication machine. To buy a PCB fabrication machine Rs. 2,50,000 to 3,70,000 is required but this machine will cost only Rs. 25,000 to 30,000. [playlist type="video" ids="5780"]

Students of 3rd year CSE, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur have developed a "Smart Door Lock" with IOT implementation. In this project users can add multiple Smart Door Lock device on their single account and it can be operated from anywhere in the world. It's a key less door lock system, so no one need to carry key. This project is implemented under the guidance of Prof. Ratul Dey and Mr. Shopan Dey. This is the main control board of "Smart Door Lock" which is implemented using arduino nano and esp8266 wifi module.

On 16th March 2018, there will be a hands on session on machine learning and deep learning using Matlab and hands on simulink, hands on session on multidomain system modelling and hardware connectivity using simulink at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. Participants need to bring their Laptop with matlab installed on it. The workshop will cater to CSE,ECE,EE and ME Dept.  

With the advancement of machine learning, technology is reaching new heights. As a result, the different branches of machine learning are emerging from the domain. One such area is known Image Processing. Computer Vision and Machine Learning are two core branches of Computer Science that can function, and power very sophisticated system that rely on CV and ML algorithms exclusively but when you combine the two, you can achieve even more. Keeping that in mind, IEM E-Cell organized 'Image Processing with OpenCV" workshop for 2 days on 13th February and 15th February 2018 taken by senior IEDC members. This workshop was attended by a large number of students interested in Image Processing. It also had a hands-on session in which participants were assigned a small task based on their limited knowledge. The participants were constantly guided by the instructor and volunteers helped in clearing doubts of the participants. A Special Session has been arranged for 1st and 2nd Year Engineering Students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata on 11th March (Sunday) from 10am to 5pm on "Automation using Arduino". Registration fee is Rs.100 Only which is to be paid on the day of Workshop.
