Kundan Kumar Mishra, 2017 passout student of UEM Jaipur is working as Inspection Engineer in DNV.GL - an international accredited registrar and classification society, headquartered in Høvik, Norway, having 12,500 employees and 350 offices operating in more than 100 countries, and providing services for several industries including maritime, renewable energy, oil & gas, electrification, food & beverage and healthcare. DNV.GL was created as a result of a merger between two leading organizations in the field - Det Norske Veritas (Norway) and Germanischer Lloyd (Germany). Kundan is currently working on Dhobi-Durgapur Gas Pipeline Project of Gail India Limited at Essar Steels India Pvt. Ltd.

Jaipur, as they say is a place of glorious uncertainties. Every move on this city can lead you to a new surprise. As you can see the oldest of castles and palaces every now and then, so you can see the most modern and most innovative architectures in the buildings. A stay in the city trains you to think big, to learn big and to do big. Gradually over the years, this business hub of the country has also become an educational hub. Whatever be, every Indian should always consider giving a few years of their life to this city. You simply become a better human being, and a better achiever.

Engineering is probably the most common course taken up by most science students. The reason for such high demand being the highly paid jobs that one gets after the course completion. But to achieve such positions one must be placeable. That's exactly what our University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur aimed at. The achievements of mine are solely indebted to the efforts of all the faculty members and the University. They have helped me to grow better with each passing day and become placable. Hello I am Sandip Dutta, B.Tech in Civil Engineering Department, 2016 passout batch of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. I got placement in Kreeti Technologies Ltd, and later got the opportunity to work in Federal Bank as an officer. University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur provides Bachelor of Physiotherapy course (BPT). India is a country where the every alternate person needs Physiotherapy. There is a huge queue in the hospitals for the need of physiotherapists. On the contrary, our country produces very less number of physiotherapists. As a result, students passing out of the course of physiotherapy (BPT) are of huge demand and will be recruited immediately on passout.

We are proud to announce that the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has been selected 1 out of the 100 institutes of the country, and the only University of Rajasthan by BMW for its “Skill Next" programme, launched by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. As part of the program, a laboratory will be set up at UEM Jaipur with a state-of-the-art BMW engine and transmission unit (worth Rs 14 lakhs), to be provided free of cost to our University for learning purposes. These will be  BMW’s proprietary TwinPower Turbo In-Line 4-Cylinder Diesel Engine and Eight-Speed Steptronic Automatic Transmission. Also post-handover, a free training and workshop will be provided by 40 Master Technicians of BMW. The workshops will be a combination of classroom sessions and hands-on practical sessions using detailed training materials.
