The University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur wholeheartedly congratulates it's 3rd year Civil Engineering students Sougata Banerjee, Md. Afnan Alam and Subhajit Maity for having obtained 100%, 50% and 50% scholarships respectively under BIM Training from Technostruct USA India division covering AutoCAD 3D, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Navisworks, clash coordination and clash detection. After the training, the students will be given practical demonstration and they will get an opportunity to interact with US based clients. The deserving candidates will get an opportunity to crack a job offer in the United States of America through their good performance. Few words from the students:- 21st May: Journey Begins: Started the day with a beautiful cloudy morning, after the regular boiling summer and then back on studies. The environment here, in Gurgaon, near Technostruct Academy is really very peaceful and busy. From 11 a.m. sharp, our classes get started, and doesn't end until each and every doubt of us and the daily schedule routine are satisfied. Our Trainer here, Bhuvaneshwari ma'am, is more than a trainer, she is very frank, polite and knowledgeable. She makes learning more easier and familiar. We are given tasks on regular basis, like House plan layouts, Downtown layout, Industrial heavy machinery like ducts, fire systems, water line, etc, all in 2D as well as 3D. Till date, AutoCAD 2D, 3D, MEP and Revit has been done, moving forward to Revit MEP. All the trainers here are really very enthusiastic, having a lot of experience in Designing and Modelling Structures. Overall, I conclude here, just cant express in words, the great experiences of learning in hi-tech environment here. At UEM, the students learn by doing. Here is a video of BCA students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur learning Arduino and Raspberry Pi by developing a standard "Gas Leakage Detection System" to show the presence of harmful gases like hydrogen containing gases (even those which human nose cannot detect) in a room and to be shown on an attached LCD. The students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur have developed this interesting concept of a robot subscribing platform. Their website called IBOTS can be used as this platform for subscription of robots kept elsewhere for a limited time, and those robots can be made to control from the place where the subscriber is present. When a robotics competition is held at different big international levels or even at small scale at different technical festivals, then various robotics professionals or students cannot participate because they need to go to the place of competition with their robots, which often is not a possibility for them. So the idea is that, using this platform, robotics professionals or students can subscribe to different robots kept at the place of the competition and can make the robots function from their native place. Using the platform after subscription of the robots, the robots can be made to function in any way, that the subscriber would like to. The project has been done by Mr. Sourav Banerjee, Mr. Sparsh Dutta and Mr. Ankit Verma under their mentor Prof. Souvik Saha.
