IEEE UEMJ STUDENT Branch, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur and the Dept. of Electronics & Communication Engineering, UEM JAIPUR organizing this Webniar by Dr. Allabaksh Naikodi, at the UEM Jaipur premises on 11th September, 2019 on the topic “IoT landscape in E-Vehicles/Mobility". Dr. Allabaksh Naikodi, with over 32 years of experience is presently heading the Advance Technology Department of Mahindra Electric - the Electric Vehicle Company of Mahindra. He obtained Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (Chennai), India in 1995. He is member of many Technical committees including the expert committee-Govt. of India for EV sub-systems development and BIS ETD51 for charging systems. Android App development workshop was conducted by the students of 3rd year of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur for their juniors of 1st and 2nd year. The workshop was Hands-on and the students came up with their own app as an outcome of the workshop. There was immense amount of enthusiasm in the participants. Students of 3rd year of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur conducted Hands-on Robotics Workshop for their juniors of 1st and 2nd year. Students learnt hands-on building of basic and little of advanced robots. The workshop was concluded by all participants building basic robots. PLACEMENTS IN SCHOOLLOG (an IIT campus company) AT UEM JAIPUR:- Students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur - Abhinandan Datta, Arnab Debnath, Antara Sarkar, Priyodarshini Roy, Mohit Agarwal, Madhab Paul, Tiasha Pal and Rounak Saha got job offer from Schoollog - an IIT campus company. We wholeheartedly CONGRATULATE them. Till now current final year 2020 batch to be passout students of UEM Jaipur have got job offer from - Kreeti Technologies - Infosys - TCS - KSolves India - iBirds - Devoy Softech - Skytech Solutions - Infoobjects - cvDragon - Appventurez - ICICI Bank - AIMIL Ltd - Vedantu - Okaya - LG Electronics Highest job offer till now for current final year (2020 to be passing out batch) of UEM Jaipur is upto Rs 7 lakhs per annum. It has been only 1 month into placement till now and 11 months of placement season are still remaining.

3rd day of Govt. of India, DST, NSTEDB sponsored program, organized by the School of Management, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur consisted of industrial visit to India Image Ltd. This is the Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp that was held at the University premises between 17th to 19th September, 2019. 1st 2 days were in-house program consisting of sessions by:- - Ms. Richa Mahendra, Director, Finesse Jaipur - Mr. Vipin Sharma, Director, Shubh Lagn Ltd. Jaipur - Prof. T. K. Jain, Professor and Social Entrepreneur, Jaipur The main objective of this Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) was to create awareness among students of Management, Engineering and Science courses about various facets of entrepreneurship. Govt. of India, DST, NSTEDB sponsored program 2nd day, organized by the School of Management, University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur. This is the Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp being held at the University premises between 17th to 19th September, 2019. The speaker for the 2nd day was:- Prof. T. K. Jain, Professor and Social Entrepreneur, Jaipur He stressed on leveraging on the opportunities identified and converting those into business models. He also asked students to apply for internship projects in Startups rather than bigger companies, so that they can develop the necessary skills. The participants were divided into teams and were asked to propose a Business Idea that solves a problem. The students had buddy sessions and validated their business ideas with their buddy teams. The speaker explained them about 9 main building blocks of business model and he also showed video about how to pitch the business idea. On the first day, speakers were - Ms. Richa Mahendra, Director, Finesse Jaipur - Mr. Vipin Sharma, Director, Shubh Lagn Ltd.
