For FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE of the STUDENTS and creating TRAINED MANPOWER for the INDUSTRY: We consider that this Christmas, we have been able to do something good for our students. We, at UEM JAIPUR, have signed an MoU with the Board of Apprenticeship Training, Govt. of India. Through this MoU, final year students of UEM JAIPUR will be able to undergo training and work at different companies, parallel to their learning at the University, for which, they will be paid handsome stipend by the Govt. Govt. will do this with the idea of creating good ready manpower for the industry, by the time they pass out from UEM JAIPUR. But, also from the students' point of view, we believe that this will really help the family of those students, who are needy, to support the education of the student. Congratulations on Outstanding Achievement in All India Inter-University Boxing Championship. It is with immense pride and joy that we announce the exceptional performance of our university's women boxers, Tashree and Charu, at the All India Inter-University Boxing Championship held at Punjab, Bathinda. Following their intense participation in the AIU all india boxing tournament qualifying rounds conducted on 22nd and 23rd December, both athletes secured qualification in their respective weight categories in Khelo India. Furthermore, in the 57 kg weight category, Charu from School of Management, clinched bronze medal, bringing laurels to the university. This commendable achievement has not only highlighted the talent within our institution but also registered our university's name among the premier institutions across India. UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING & MANAGEMENT (UEM) JAIPUR and BOARD OF APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING (NORTHERN REGION), MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Implementation of Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program (AEDP) under National Apprenticeship Training, today on 24th December, 2024 at City Office of UEM Jaipur, Lal Kothi, Jaipur. New Education Policy 2020 emphasises to bridge Education-Employability gap among students. Apprenticeship is tried and tested model to improve employability of students. In accordance with that UGC has issued revised Guidelines for Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) to offer Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program (AEDP) in 2024. Under which HEI are required to offer Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programs (AEDP) for undergraduate level programs with mechanism to industry-academia linkages and outcome-based learning of students. Board of Apprenticeship Training (Northern Region), {BOAT (NR)} Kanpur is providing apprenticeship training to Degree and Diploma holders through National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). In recently released Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) guidelines, NATS has been tasked to work and collaborate with HEIs to implement AEDP. The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is to establish a close relationship and cooperation between the HEIs and industries / establishments to ensure that apprenticeship training component of the students enrolled in AEDP enabled undergraduate level programme is covered under National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) which is governed under the provisions of The Apprentices Act 1961 & The Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended thereafter so as to meet the below listed objectives of AEDP: 1. To improve the employability of students of undergraduate level programmes. 2. To focus on outcome-based learning in undergraduate level programmes. 3. To promote active linkage between the HEIs and industries/ establishments. 4. They have provided valuable suggestions on certain points, which are noted down. During their visit Experts have visited the Dronesster and Tecxaro centre at first floor. Mr. Nitin Bassi praised the efforts of students at Dronesster and provided them with important leads to improve it further. The BPT Alumni Chapter event at UEM Jaipur, inaugurated by Associate academic Dean sir (Dr Mukesh yadav) on December 2, 2024, was a resounding success. Organized by the Department of Physiotherapy, the event featured inspiring talks by distinguished alumni, Dr. Muskan and Dr. Rahul Jhajhara. Dr. Muskan shared her expertise as a Pelvic Floor Therapist and Women Health Counselor, while Dr. Rahul Jhajhara provided insights into advanced physiotherapy practices and the significance of multidisciplinary healthcare.
